Experimental Testing of the Method of Partitioning of Segregating Populations on Component Genotypes

Partitioning method by L. Powers allows one to obtain true Mendelian description of quantitative trait inheritance, which makes possible a selection prognosis. This method can be easily applied in usual selection programs dealing with self-pollinators.
