Alien Genes Transfer and Inheritance under Genetic Transformation in Maize
Cytology and Genetics 2001, v 35, number 2, 60-66
Achievements in maize genetic transformation are discussed with regard to which cells, tissues and organs may be the targets for alien gene transfer. Data review on genotypical peculiarities of transgenesis and inheritance of alien genes included in the maize genome is presented.
