Medical-genetic study of the population of Lenkoran district of Azerbaijan Republic

Results of populational-genetic research of genetic diseases in children up to 14-year-old of the population of Lenkoran district are presented. It was shown that the phenotypic frequencies of hereditary diseases and congenital malformations is 0,274 % according to the data of Medical-Labor Expert Commission and 5,12 % according to the data of research survey. The high level of multifactoral and autosome-reccessive types of inheritance indicates the high level of consanguine marriages in the population of the studied areas.
