SUMMARY. We studied the agronomic characteristics of lines-analogues of bread wheat varieties Kooperatorka and Stepnyak, with identified alleles of photoperiod sensiti-vity genes by using PCR. The level of recovery of background these lines has been determined and also alleles of Rht8 dwarfing gene have been detected. The effects of Ppd-D1a allele at the agronomical traits and growth rate at the lines- analogues independently from other genetic system with the variance and discriminant analyse have been revealed. Differences in results obtained by these two methods could be explained by the correlations between the traits in discriminant analysis. It has been shown that the most informative traits for distinguishing lines are the length of the period before heading and height.
