Enigmatic phenomenon of secondary association among bivalents in Guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.)

РЕЗЮМЕ. Було проведено цитогенетичну оцінку реакції материнських клітин пилку гуару (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.) на дію хімічного мутагену. Використання етилметансульфонату (УМС) дозволило виявити наявність загадкової поведінки хромосомних бівалентів, тобто вторинного зв’язку. Хромосоми продемонстрували унікальну тенденцію до утворення зв’язку у безпосередній близькості та до формування дискретних пар. Явище вторинного хромосомного зв’язку було пояснено наявністю подібної зчепленої гомології або неправильного утворення хіазми серед бівалентів, що з’єднуються. Було встановлено, що зв’язок бівалентів утворювався на будь-якому кінці, а не збоку. Було виявлено різні інші хромосомні аномалії, однак вторинний зв’язок залишався переважною аномалією, яка продемонструвала постійне підвищення своєї величини з одночасним підвищенням концентрації ЕМС. Окрім вторинних зв’язків, спостерігалась значна частотність злиття хромосом в анафазі. Також було виявлено суттєвий вплив хромосомного зв’язку на пост-мейотичний продукт, що, в свою чергу, призвело до впливу на мейотичний індекс. Спостерігались аномальні споради у формі тріад, діад, монад та поліад, а також нормальні тетради. Було відмічено, що відсоток родючості пилку зменшувався від контролю до найвищої концентрації ЕМС через аномалії попередніх етапів.
