Studies on gamma rays induced cyto­morphological variations and procurement of some induced novel mutants in Kalmegh [Andrographis paniculata (Burm F.) Nees.]

РЕЗЮМЕ. У статті представлено результати дослідження Andrographis paniculata (Burm. F.) Nees., (також відомої як Калмегх в Аюрведі), дикої рослини зі значними імуностимулюючими властивостями, яка широко застосовується в народній медицині. Дослідження було проведене з метою підвищення рівня генетичної мінливості рослин для їхнього вдосконалення та кращої адаптації у сучасних мінливих кліматичних умовах. З цією метою здорове сухе однорідне насіння опромінювали чотирма дозами гамма­випромінювання (джерело випромінювання – Co­60, потужність дози – 1,55 Гр в секунду, обрано на підставі LD50, тобто 25 Гр (грей), 50 Гр, 100 Гр і 200 Гр). Один набір насіння не опромінювали, надалі висівали все насіння у трьох паралельних дослідженнях за повністю рандомізованим повно­блочним планом (CRBD). Вищі дози завдавали шкоди, тому не розглядалися для подальших експериментів з виведення мутантів. Натомість нижчі дози (а саме – 25 Гр та 50 Гр) гамма­опромінення були стимулюючими і індукували значимі (p > 0,5) зміни декількох вигідних характеристик Andrographis paniculata (Kalmegh): висота рослини, площа листка, кількість гілок однієї рослини, довжина міжвузля (мм), довжина плода і кількість насінин у плоді. Також було отримано новітні індуковані мутанти (кущистий мутант з темно­зеленим листям і тридольний мутант у поколінні M2). Отже, наскільки нам відомо, це перше повідомлення про отримання індукованого тридольного листяного мутанта A. paniculata за допомогою гамма­випромінювання.
