Виявлення хромосомних анеуплоїдій у бластомерах людини за допомогою FISH збільшує успіх ЕКЗ, покращуючи шанси на прогресування ембріонів до пологів

Ефективність PGT-A вивчали у пацієнтів із попередньою невдачею ЕКЗ, повторною втратою вагітності, ідіопатичним  безпліддям та безпліддям через інші причини. Більше 50 % всіх ембріонів, отриманих у чотирьох експериментальних і одній контрольній групах, були анеуплоїдними. Найчастіше спостерігалися анеуплоїдії аутосом 15 і 18 і обох статевих хромосом. Більшість анеуплоїдій було виявлено у пацієнтів з попередньою невдачею ЕКЗ та ідіопатичним безпліддям. Після відбору еуплоїдних ембріонів для перенесення були досягнуті високі клінічні показники вагітності у всіх досліджуваних групах. Принаймні у 30 % пацієнтів у кожній досліджуваній групі лікування ЕКЗ у поєднанні з PGT-A призводило до народження живої дитини. Найвищий рівень живонародженості спостерігався у пацієнтів із повторною втратою вагітності та попереднім невдачею ЕКЗ, що чітко демонструє переваги пропозиції PGT-A як частини лікування різних видів безпліддя.
