Permanent genetic variability in introgressive lines and amphidiploids of Triticeaе

Antonyuk M.Z., Shpylchyn V.V., Ternovska T.K.

SUMMARY. Hybrid origination of genome is regarded as a cause of genetic instability that is inherent in such genomes. Using the model of amphidiploids and introgressive wheat/Aegilops lines the proofs are given that in their genomes the permanent alterations are happened. They are displayed at the phenotypic level under studying the morphological and biochemical characters in sequential generations of certain genotypes and also in F1 and F2 hybrids. Both transposon action and intrachromosome arrangements through the gametocidal chromosome 4Ssh can be considered as recognized causes of such variability.
